Instructions and Procedure for online submission of Application Form

  1. Please read the instructions and procedure carefully before you start filling the Application Form
  2. Go through the Advertisement Notice No: Edu-Coll/Adv/Acd/Arrg/JD/2017-18 Dated: 05-07-2017 issued by the Department of Higher Education Govt. of Jammu & Kashmir for engagement of eligible candidates on Academic Arrangement in the Govt. Degree Colleges of Jammu Division for the Academic Session 2017-18
  3. The candidate must possess post-graduate degree in the concerned subject with minimum 55% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/Physically and Visually Handicapped candidates) along with NET/SLET/SET/Ph.D for the post of Lecturer/ Librarian/PTI
  4. The candidate must possess post-graduate degree in the concerned subject with minimum 55% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/Physically and Visually Handicapped candidates) for the post of Assistant Lecturer/Assistant Librarian/ Assistant PTI
  5. Before filling the application form ensures that you have good quality scanned photograph of size less than 50 KB and in JPG/JPEG format only. Also keep the relevant documents ready with you for filling personal and academics details in the application form
  6. After reading these instructions click Apply Online at the bottom of this page
  7. Fill in your details in the application form carefully. Then upload your scanned photograph and then press the button “preview” at the bottom of the page before the submission. Your complete form will appear on the screen with two options (a) Edit and (b) Submit. In case you want to edit the applicaiton you can do so by pressing Edit button and once you are satisfied that your details are correct then press Submit button.
  8. On pressing “Submit” a message “Your form is successfully submitted, ..........Application No. etc.” subject to payment of Rs.50/ online. Note down your applicaiton number for future.
  9. Successful submission of Application form and payment of Rs.50/- will be acknowledged on your E-mail ID as well as message on your registered Mobile number
  10. Take out the print of the form & payment receipt and submit the same along with self attested relevant documents during the counselling in the Old Hall of GGM Science College, Jammu as per the schedule uploaded on the site later on
  11. Please go through the printed application form carefully and check all the information you furnished. In case of any wrong entry again visit the site click on “Edit Application” make corrections and resubmit the form
  12. Track the status of your application on the same website in future
  13. Candidates with State Subject (PRC) are eligible to apply for the advertised posts
  14. Last date of applying online Application and online payment of Rs. 50/- is 17th July, 2017
  15. All candidates are requested to visit the site daily for all necessary information and keep their registered mobile on
  16. I am self responsible for all the information provided in the online application form. In the event of any information being found false, incomplete, incorrect, forgery or tempering of any documents then my candidature shall be cancelled without any notice thereof. Further misleading information shall attract necessary legal action
